  • Globe valves are so-called because of their distinctive spherical globe-shaped body shape, consisting of two halves separated by an internal baffle. All RotaryFlow™ valves have an opening that forms a seat, onto which a movable plug or disc can be screwed in order to close or shut the valve. In manual globe valves, the plug is connected to a stem which can be operated by a handwheel using a screw action to control the valve.
  • Automated RotaryFlow™ Globe Valves use smooth stems rather than threaded ones and are opened and closed by an actuator assembly.
  • Globe valves are commonly used in applications that require precise flow control, such as in the oil and gas industry or in chemical processing plants.
